These shorts are poorly made. They rip extremely easily near the base of the pockets and end up being so badly torn they become unrepairable waste-can-fodder. This has happened to three of the pairs I have bought, in one case within a few minutes of my first wearing them! And wearing them is all I have ever tried to do with them!
I am 65 and do not play rugby any longer, so at most they are treated with kid gloves. At this point I can only use them like upscale recreational shorts. I ever wore these in a rugby game, I would by left with nothing but shreds of cloth hanging on to my crotch region and nothing else.
I love the look of them and the feel of the cotton in them, but cannot ever believe a rugby player can wear these in action.
Given how much I have spent at your store, I was extremely disappointed with this item and will not buy any more.
